Lighthouse
Beacon in the night
Watching, illuminating, keeping you safe
Showing the safe path
Penetrate the dark
A bright soul beckoning you to stay away
Purely out of love
A loving heart
A muffled soul beckoning you to come inside
Wanting to be loved
Scarred, torn,in the dark
Needing to feel safe by your protective light
Wanting to be open
She looks at his eyes
Unable to say what needs to be said
Wanting the words out
Wanting to be safe again
Unsure of his intentions for her love
Wanting to be open
